Miley To Host TCA Awards

Miley Ray Cyrus is set to host the 2008 Teen Choice Awards, reports Starlet Views. While the TCA's are normally hosted by two people (last year it was Hilary Duff and Nick Cannon), this year, Miley will be going solo. Earlier this year, she hosted the CMT Awards. The Teen Choice Awards will be held on August 3rd and will air on FOX.

Miley Cyrus & John Travolta Duet in the Works?

Miley Cyrus has a new singing partner in John Travolta, reports E!

“Johnny may sing [a duet] with Miley,” Travolta’s wife Kelly Preston said yesterday.

When asked if she’s seen Miley’s semi-topless Vanity Fair photo, Preston said, “ “We [now] know Miley very well. and she’s a sweetheart. All I know is that I know her personally and she’s a really good girl with a great head on her shoulders.”

Travolta and Miley already have teamed up to lend their voice talents to the upcoming animated Disney film, Bolt. Travolta voices the main character, Bolt, a white German Shepherd. Miley voices Penny, Bolt’s human co-star in the film. Bolt opens in theaters everywhere on Friday, November 26.

Filming At Franklin High School

Part of the "Hannah Montana" movie will be filmed in Tennessee at Franklin High School. Shooting there will begin sometime after May 26th. If you are hoping to hop over to the high school and catch a glimpse of Miley Cyrus, don’t waste your time. Security there is said to be very tight and the set will be closed. There is one exception though for 7 Franklin High students who are studying media arts. They get to be on the set shooting their own video and interviewing the staff about their jobs. Those lucky ducks.
